Welcome to the Toronto Sailing & Canoe Club!

TS&CC is a non-profit, member-run sailing and paddling club on Lake Ontario in the Humber Bay. Founded in 1880, it offers racing, cruising, and sailing instruction; recreational paddling; and children’s sailing camps. Dragon boat and outrigger teams are resident as well.

Nestled on a two-acre site off Lake Shore Blvd. W., TS&CC is sheltered behind a breakwall with its neighbours, the Boulevard Club and the Argonauts Rowing Club. Facilities include a clubhouse with hot showers, a fireplace, a bar and grill, and a dance floor, which members may rent for private functions. The waterside patio is a peaceful place to enjoy a picnic or watch the sunset. Members are also welcome to use barbecues onsite.

Keelboat members have a choice of moorings on the breakwall or swing moorings, and racers may opt to dry sail their boats. Dinghies are stored on land and launched from dollies. Canoe, kayak, and outrigger members have convenient racks for their crafts.

TS&CC offers a fleet membership that allows participants to sail club-owned dinghies and keelboats. No membership is required to take a sailing course.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are race nights at TS&CC, with a number of dinghies and keelboats participating. Each year, the club hosts the Canadian Olympic Classes Regatta, also known as the Ice Breaker Regatta. The Wayfarer association regularly holds its provincial or national competitions here, and there is a dedicated Wayfarer fleet in residence.

As a volunteer-run club, most membership types require a contribution of either 8 or 20 work hours per year. Projects include gardening, carpentry, or IT and administrative tasks.

Our club is near the foot of Dowling Avenue, on the water's edge between Argonaut Rowing Club and the Boulevard Club. To park, turn south onto Net Drive from Lake Shore.
