Summer Camps

2025 summer camp registration is now open!

Toronto Sailing & Canoe Club has the city’s best learn-to-sail programs for ages 6 to 17. Summer camps run Monday-to-Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm through July and August, with an early drop-off (starting at 7:30 am) and late pick-up (until 6 pm) option. TS&CC also offers an optional hot lunch program to campers, which includes vegetarian selections.

Summer camp is held in one, two, and four-week sessions (see below for details). Every instructor is trained and certified by national authorities in boat safety and first aid, and is ready to provide a safe, fun-filled experience for sailors of different ages and abilities.

The TS&CC sailing school curriculum is based on Sail Canada standards. Students can earn nationally recognized certificates by demonstrating skills learned in the program. No previous sailing experience is required to enroll in WetFeet or CANSail 1. After CANSail 1, students must have completed the previous level in order to advance to the next one.

For more information, visit our Frequently Asked Questions page or email programs@tscc.net.

Summer Programs

WetFeet

WetFeet is for children aged 6 to 8 who have no previous sailing experience. Instructors introduce them to sailing in a fun and safe environment in TS&CC’s protected harbour. In child-friendly sailing dinghies called Optimists, WetFeet sailors start out two-to-a-boat, and later work up to sailing a boat themselves. WetFeet builds friendships, confidence, and self-esteem as it focuses on getting children comfortable in sailboats.

Opportunities to train in the spring and fall

Spring sessions are mid-April to mid-June, while fall sessions run from September to the end of October. Both offer two sailing sessions per week.

Spring Session - Will run one weekday evening and Saturday/Sunday afternoons (exact dates and times TBD)
