Pierre has been a member of TS&CC since 2020 and Commodore since 2022. His family are the proud owners of a “vintage” Tanzer 22 named Little Flower Chief. Pierre and his wife Shannon both grew up sailing on the Ottawa River out of Aylmer, Quebec. As Commodore, Pierre chairs the TS&CC board, ensuring that the club’s activities are aligned with its mission and vision. Jeremy has been a member of TS&CC since 2019, and has served as Vice Commodore since 2021. In that role, he oversees food and beverage operations, entertainment, and club staff. Jeremy sails the Grampian 28, Indulgence.
John has served as Treasurer for more than thirty years. He has advocated for and supported the growth of the club to include paddlers and fleet members, and the expansion of learn-to-sail programs. He helps keep the club financially stable, for example by applying for grants, providing his own accounting services, and keeping control of expenses. At first he sailed a Laser, but then he moved up to a much larger boat, a Wayfarer!
Daniel has been a dinghy sailor since 2014, and a keelboat sailor since 2020. As Membership Director, he is the first point-of-contact for any aspiring dinghy and keelboat members, and assists existing members by answering questions or directing them to the right person.
Philip has been a member of TS&CC since 2011, sailing the Wayfarer-like dinghy which he made about 40 years ago. He is a proud father, stepfather, and grandfather of four children and three grandchildren. Philip worked on getting the club's website into place starting in 2015. He has been Communications Director (on-and-off) since 2017 and spearheaded the relaunch of the club's website, bringing it into the 21st century!
Gillian is a lifelong sailor and has been an active senior keelboat member of TS&CC since 2021. Originally from the West Coast, she's had multiple sailboats over the years but currently helms the Bonnie Lass, a 1979 7.5 Tanzer, with the help of her three teenage sons. By day she is an interior designer and senior design editor at House & Home Magazine.
Nicolas is part of the organizing authority for the annual Ice Breaker Regatta, and principal organiser for all TS&CC sailing events. He is a thirty-year veteran sailor, competing in One Design classes including Shark, Laser, Kirby 25, Star, J24, and the International 14, as well as various other keelboat types in PHRF and MORC.
John hails from merry old London, England, where he learned to sail in his boyhood with the Sea Scouts. In 1968, he emigrated to Canada, bringing his wife, four-year-old daughter, and his love of sailing. John sailed his Mirror dinghy on Georgian Bay with his growing family. After taking the keelboat course at TS&CC, he sailed club boats before purchasing his current boat, which he sails and races weekly with his crew. As the TS&CC Harbour Master, he deals with moorings, haulout, and launching of club boats.
Dori is the first point-of-contact for any aspiring paddling members.
