A friendly reminder that our Sail Past will take place this Saturday, July 28th with the Skipper’s Meeting at 11:00 AM.
The Sail Past is a fun event that allows all members to gather on and off the water. The Commodore, Bob Stevenson, will anchor a boat in the bay while everybody gathers in the area. On a pre-arranged signal, the Fleet Captain (Kit Wallace in Tom Wharton’s absence) will lead the boats past the stern of the Commodore’s boat. Sail boats will “dip” their headsail, paddlers will wave or salute. After all boats have passed, we will have a “See the Island Race” followed by a special BBQ Derek is arranging for us all.

See you on Saturday!
